Tons of swimming and fun. We spent 7 days at Lake Chelan State Park this past week. We went to Slidewaters, a water park, one day and the others were spent in the lake, at the playground by the lake, and at the campsite. I am pleased to report that we had no major injuries (self excluded) and no bad sunburns. Being the hydration and sunscreen police was tiring for Mom and Dad, and the kids got bored by the last day so we came home a few days early to relax. Joseph loved riding his bike everywhere and taking animal pictures and video which I will post. Stuart was a water baby, jumping off the dock endlessly. Andrew loved exploring the rocks and swimming. Molly relaxed in the sun and shade, read several books, and texted a lot. Owen seemed to enjoy everything (including peeing in the bushes.) I really liked swimming in the lake. It was so clear, and I saw very few fish, and little vegetation. That was good as I have lasting fears from swimming with jellyfish, stingrays, and other things that go bump in the Gulf. Climbing in and out on the rocks was a bit tricky, and I think I will have a cool new scar along one shin from it. I also removed a great deal of skin from the bottom of my foot because I did not put my glasses on, carry a flashlight, or put my shoes on one night to go to the bathroom. Dumbo. The boys and Molly were much more agile. Shawn got one bee sting and a few scrapes but we basically survived. He was the major reason our trip was a success, making coffee, juice, meals- setting up and taking down camp, and taking care of all of us! You are wonderful, husband.
