Waiting at the starting line.
The Kid's Marathon was Saturday. The boys did 25 miles of running the past 2 months at school, logged on punch cards with tiny feet trinkets when they finished. They did the last 1.2 miles as a group and had a blast! This is their 2nd year participating. They were super fast, too!

The shelves are finished! The lighting is strange in the boys' room but in person they are a beautiful light glossy pine. They are cut out on the sides to clear the fish tank and the heater and light switch on the near end. The boys already had a small shelf on that wall so we left it there. Shawn did an excellent job!

The weather here has been so warm, at least for a few days, that we got a wading pool to cool off in.

I want trailer there, show Nana.
OK, Owen.
It was Karma, really. We got an unexpected check in the mail Monday, just as our neighbor told us about a trailer nearby for sale. The amounts were almost the same! Good timing, we need it in 6 weeks for hauling things to camping!

We set the tent up over the weekend. The bunk beds work really well, except when Owen tells you to 'scoot over' and wants to sleep with Mom. They are a smidge narrow for that. The boys had Kyler stay over so that made 5 boys plus Mom in the tent overnight. Whee!

It's going to be a busy week! Owen's pre-pre school graduation is Tuesday. Wednesday is the 8th grade dance which I am helping decorate for and clean up after. There's also a baby shower somewhere that day, which Oh, Yes, I still have to finish 2 quilts for:) Thursday is a field trip or two. Then I get the relaxing break of going back to work Friday.
