part 2

So I'm going to sleep, in the middle of nowhere, NV and I decide to plot out my map for the next day to Vegas. My phone dies. I get an error message to sync with iTunes. HA- my hard drive's 1500 miles away! OK, no biggie, I can buy a map..
Oh crap! I'm picking up Amy at the airport in Vegas! And her flight info was a text! on my phone!
Up at 4am, arrive Las Vegas Airport 9am. OK, I think- she's coming from Seattle sometime between 9 and 12, I remember that much. lucky me, there's only 1 terminal. I check the boards- there's a 10:05 on Alaska from Seattle. It's the only one that looks likely, so I settle in to wait. The airport is filled with TVs advertising shows, what a trip!
10:30, plane empty, no Amy. Shit. Finally I call work from a payphone, get her cell# (which is stored in my dead phone, not my head) and call. Too bad I didn't think of that sooner, b/c she arrived at 8:30 and has been 100 yards from me the whole time!
